PFWA record book available for download

As the NFL celebrates its’ 100th season in 2019, the Pro Football Writers of America has compiled a record book for the first time that contains the organization’s history from its’ founding in 1964, a history of PFWA presidents, a list of current officers and chapter presidents/vice presidents and a complete list of awards (On-Field and Off-Field) that the PFWA membership have selected since 1966.

Included in the 48-page PDF are every All-NFL team, All-AFC and All-NFC team and All-Rookie team that the organization’s members have selected, a list of major On-Field Awards (MVP, Offensive/Defensive Players of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Offensive/Defensive Rookies of the Year, Comeback Player of the Year, Most Improved Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Executive of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year) announced each January and the PFWA’s Off-Field Awards, announced in June, which includes the Dick McCann Award, given to a reporter who has made a long and distinguished contribution to pro football through coverage – presented at the Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival weekend in Canton, Ohio.

Also included is an extensive list of award winners in all categories, and a compilation of individual and team records for All-NFL, All-Conference and the All-Rookie teams, including those individual award winners who eventually were enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The 2019 edition has bookmarks to find key sections and is fully searchable.
